Just out of interest what colour does the Carlton Club doctor/s wear, and all club doctors for that matter? More than likely blue.

The hawk doctor had the hawk track suit on

I think you may be missing the point. The arguement abou a dark colour could be used both ways, but I agree they should make anyone walking on the ground who isn't a player wear a different colour.

Agreed - I understand the confusion and maybe fluro green or pink is the go.

I clarified what he was wearing because of the posts thinking he had blue on - he was also out on the ground for shiels in the first instance not to deliberatrly confuse or fill the gap as implied by some

Possibly has a point. Still, his anger stems from his sides lack of overall success, and possibly the realization he may not be able to produce better results with this team than Ratten did.

Oh Mick. You would hope your players can tell the difference between a middle aged doctor and a team mate. What colours do the Blues doctors wear?? They must kick it to them every week!

What an astonishing excuse..

Im so happy right now.

In the sydney afl, all runners have to wear the fluro green kit they provide that says "(insert team name) runner".

Why can they do it there but not at the afl level.

It has always annoyed me that Mick feels he is free to take pot shots at anyone he pleases without consequence from up in his ivory tower, but when anyone questions him he considers it a personal insult and will treat it with contempt. It's complete double standards.

You'd think he would gain some new perspective taking time away from coaching and working in the media, but, if anything, it's worse now.

The excuses he puts up are part of this - a way to justify his own position - a position that he considers byond reproach.

I, for one, would just like to see his actions do the talking and for him to take some accountability for Carlton's losses.

The Blues did get the rough end of the stick tonight, but what cost them most was some brain fades from Waite and Garlett and a failure to capitalise on their lead. That's where the finger pointing should start.

so he should... this is the third game this year where the blues have been crucified by the martians..

the collingwood & hawthorn games were influenced, melbourne were just to pathetic to take advantage

I'm as big a Carlton hater as the next bloke but gee they got crucified by the umpires. Mick made a comment in his presser about missing a change in the tackling rule - that was a fair call. So many holding the ball decisions that were missed.

Reckon he was wrong about the Murphy incident though. No free kick there, just horrid luck.

Got to give credit to Bryce Gibbs too. I'm a big knocker of his, but that was one of the best games I've seen him play. Reckon he was BOG, and showed a bit of mongrel last night too. Commentators jump on Mitchell's performance because he happened to play on the winning side, but from what I saw Gibbs played on him most of the night and had his measure, comfortably.

Gee, that was hard writing something positive about Carlton.
