Yeah. Let's start delisting players at round 4 ...
Nah sorry. I back my club to turn it around, not give up on it after four games. But I concede, not everyone is like that.
No point gifting games to Waite and Scotland. Get some kids in.

Fair enough, just an upward trend. I guess you didnt see 2014 coming at all then.

I want the club to play those who will give us the best chance to win. Folding at round 4 is just pissweak Timmy.
Your right on that one regarding Carltons delusional management. Your wrong about me talking up Carltons list in the off season. They only have around six or so players that would get a game at the top clubs if that. The reason THEY thought the list was ok was because Ratten got the best out of what was an average playing group riddled with injuries- I maintain my view that Ratten could have remained and they would have been better off. He is extremely highly regarded around the trapps, was offered a number of Jobs and was snapped up by the Hawks in a heart beat!

Theres no dilemma. They will commit to Malthouse regardless of how pearshaped things become.
Malthouse should give Carlton a refund on the $3 million they are paying him. He promised them the world and has given them nothing. I would be very surprised if Carlton keep him on for the rebuild that they must now go through.
Fair chance the kids will give you more than Scotland and Waite. and if not the list is in worse shape than I imagined.
You got beat by 80 points and a week later lost to the basket case of the competition. There is no silver lining to this MK no matter how you try to spin itI hope it doesn't. It's only round 4. If the board reacted at this point it would be a worse sign than what's been happening onfield IMO. At this point we're two games out of the 8. That's all. Now we've got to focus on turning it around, not tearing it to pieces.
Yep both are cooked. At last Scotland can say he had a good career. All Wait did was get injured or reported. The sooner they see the back of him rather than hoping what might be, the better.Fair chance the kids will give you more than Scotland and Waite. and if not the list is in worse shape than I imagined.
You were telling everyone who listened last year that it's not about the win/loss ratio but how a team goes about it.It was a static trend, which I've already demonstrated. I'm staggered you're having trouble following something so straight forward.
As for 2014, until yesterday, it trended the same as the start to 2013. Go figure.
Doesn't make a lot of sense. Scotland has played his best football post 30yo and Waite didn't even play yesterday anyway, but even then, there's no kid who's a ready replacement for his position.
You were telling everyone who listened last year that it's not about the win/loss ratio but how a team goes about it.
Now you're simply pointing at the win/loss ratio.
Until yesterday, of course.
Unfortunately for Mick a player like Gibbs has done a Mercuri and McKernan. Played at a decent level and just can't get back to it.
Season is over. Carlton will need to win 12 of their remaining 18 games to have any chance of sneaking into eighth spot. Time to commence the rebuild now.

I can only repeat its in worse shape than I imagined if the club hasnt managed a transition for these veterans
He obviously takes too much notice of Carlton posters on BigFooty. So you weren't aware of Carlton's lack of KPF's? Shit, you must be about the only poster on BF.

Carlton had a key forward who averaged the second most contested marks in the competition in 2012, two All Australian quality KPP's in Jamieson and Henderson, plus talented youth such as Watson.
Everything was rosy at Visy Park a couple of years ago.
It's an awful position. How much longer do you persevere with trying to resuscitate 2014? The end of the season can't come quickly enough for Carlton.
I think someone's intentionally being obtuse.Yes. Jamison and Henderson are very good KPD's. Not sure what that has to do with my comment of KPF's though
The KF who averaged the second most contested marks (3rd actually) is the same bloke he's saying shouldn't get a game.
At this point I have no idea what you're on about. So I guess we have that in common.

My quote wasn't about what the 'trolls' amongst us thought, it was about the assessment of the Carlton faithful that has been proven very wrong with the benefit of time.
