I know it's a long bow to draw on - but this particular time I don't how else you could interpret the man's thoughts as been anything else.
Up until last year, Collingwood and Essendon having the Anzac Day clash exclusively, was vehemently argued by Mic that they should have it because they made it what it was today. In any case the debate of Anzac is not the issue but the pretext to it is.
Mic has now publicly changed his tune. He said. 'Is it exclusive for us, for any particular reason? Probably was early days. It's 15 years later maybe it shouldn't be. I've thought about this for some years. I've only (now) had the intestinal fortitude to say (it).'
Really? Only now he has the intestinal fortitude to say it?
Maybe I'm not so trusting of Mic's words and I would have to say he is looking already at a future outside Victoria Park.
