I think Malthouse is still a very good coach.

He hasn't had the lists of other clubs, for whatever reasons, but still gets his teams up to a high grade. He's probably one of the best guys at getting the most from his lists.

If you look at the two teams taht made the Granny's against Brisbane, you could look at the teams in retrospect and see wide gap in talent between not only them and Brisbane but a few other clubs.

They did well last year and I think their list is only average.

I think this explains why they have off years. They need a lot of things going well for them.

I have no dbout that if Malthouse had a very good list to work with, he'd bring them very close to a flag.
