Very entertaining match, reminded me a lot of the Villa match a month or so ago. We were average in the first half, but dominated the second, even though we only had 10 men for half of it.

SWP was excellent, and was unlucky to get a yellow for celebrating his first goal, and a straight red instead of a yellow for the foul (haven't seen a replay yet, so I could be wrong here). Just got to work out the consistency, and stay in touch with that top 4 for as long as possible. With Liverpool struggling and Newcastle playing catch up, back to back European campaigns are not out of the question at all. :D

Yeah was given a straight red at the time. I still haven't seen the replay, but I thought it was no worse tean a yellow card offence.

Nah he shouldn't!

Great to score 6. We're the leading scorers in the prem. Anelka has 11 (3 of those in Europe). Good to see Reyna & Distin score. SWP was great, nice to see Danny T get a run too.

Not pleased at conceeding 2. Hint of offside on their first (not the goalscorer Nolan, Sommiel actually nudged the ball to him, but Stellios looked it as it was played in). Barton at fault for the 2nd, turned inside, got robbed by Jardel, easy for Campo!

Off to Stamford Bridge next...

I'dve given him a straight red, studs up.

Happens a bit with him...

Intresting to note that two of City's summer signings missed saturdays games in Sinclair and Bosvelt.
Who do you guys reckon should replace the suspended SWP.

Yeah, probably!;)

Give Sibierski a start I reckon.

If Sinclair is fit he get's the nod, very different type to Bos, might depend on the situation.

I'd have Bosvelt and Barton in the starting lineup against Chelsea, Sinclair on the left SWP on the right. McManaman playing just behind Anelka and the usual back 4.

Sibierski would do alright in the withdrawn role as well, if that happens I would drop Sinclair to the bench and have McManaman play on the left. Reyna would be unfortunate to miss after an excellent showing last week, but he'll have to make do with a spot on the bench.

Has Wright-Phillips suspension been announced?

It usually takes a week or so, he could yet play tonight.

I like Moomba's line-up.

Macca the Striker support/Attacking midfield, Barton & Bos in the middle (We'll need some monrel!)

Reyna,Sib & Tiatto on the bench.
