Last derby was boring as batshit. Massives didn't even take the initiative at home.

It was like both teams were happy to pass the ball around pointlessly.

Rules don't say you need to attack when you're the home team.

Mancini was happy with a point, as was Ferguson.

I suspect it will be a similar sort of match with neither team wanting to risk too much. But we need 3 points, so something will have to give eventually.

Game will need an early goal to be worth much.

The last one was, calling it a fizzer would be being kind. Looking forward to this one, early one on Fox.
I envy all of those who live out west, early games on at 8:45pm in summer and 7.45pm when daylight savings starts in England :) Oh, to have EPL on at those times in Melbourne!

Ferdinand out, assume that Evans will be in to replace him. Tevez to tear Evans a new arsehole. I reckon this one will be attacking, United need to get some points on the board with 3 tough away trips coming up at Emirates, Anfield and Stamford Bridge. City will be out to cement their place in the top 3. Predicting City to win 2-1. a Tevez double followed by a Nani consolation in the last 10 minutes.

Smalling should and most likely will start ahead of Evans should Ferdinand be out.

Come on you reds!

Chances of it being like last season's home derby: slim to none I'd say. Just as well too, I don't know if my nerves could stand it.

Need to get back on track here.

Good. That means there won't be 10 minutes injury time if United need a goal this time round :)

A Wolves loss may seem not to bad, we will be fired up and wanting to get back on the winners list.

Man United 2-1 Man City.

If Man City go there and do what they did at the Emirates, certain 0-0.

Maybe a lucky winner in the 98th minute for United.
