It's fairly common knowledge that Hojlund wants to join. Goldbridge doesn't really know that much. Mainly just gives his opinion.

Rashy about to sign a 5 year extension, turned down more lucrative deals from England and abroad.

Prime time now for him, needs to kick on from last season.

I don’t think there was ever a danger that he would leave, just that the rumours were out there that he might. Happy to get that contract sealed.

Reckon PSG were a legitimate threat.

PSG come across like a club that would rather go Galactico shopping. Maybe I am wrong but it never felt like Rashford was a good fit.

They would have loved to match him with Mbappe.

Yeh, kinda sceptical that Rashford can indeed go to another level or even match last season's level again but that's only because of numerous false dawns since SAF retired. Hoping like hell he proves me wrong.

Would ease the pressure off him if one of Sancho or Antony start producing on the other wing, tho.

No Telles or Bailly at training, must have moves lined up.

Watching the latest training vid (going full nuffie), can see why Bruno is the new captain. Last on the training ground, and also the only one (of those shown) that went and said hello to the camera crew when he arrived at training.

Has always been the true leader on the pitch over Maguire. You could see he was captain material from the first game he played.

Plus him rejecting a Saudi move apparently they went after him and offered to pay him Ronaldo money and he rejected it which is amazing

Love him, just seems like a top fella. You need as many of those characters as possible.

Was interesting to see how happy the players were to see Benni too lol.

To be fair they probably went oh wow someone who can finish my god

I nearly spat my drink all over my screen reading this! What the hell are you guys all remembering?

Di Maria was absolutely atrocious. The stats will suggest he performed ok (he still got a few assists) but he was awful any time he got near the field. I mean, he was dropped for a cooked Ashley Young and he showed no desire to fight his way back into the team after that. He never wanted to be at the club and it showed every time he played. That makes him comfortably the worst high profile signing that we've made IMO.

Yeah his first month or so was great, then he basically forgot (or chose not to) to perform basic football skills. He was one of the biggest flops of all time

Remember the disaster that was Falcao? Now that was a player that forgot basic football skills. Yikes.
To be fair he didn't cost 80mil

I think an injury just ruined Falcao, became a shell of himself and we shouldn’t have gone near him.

It was a bad move from the beginning. Bloody good player on his day though, ****ed by injuries.
