I think an injury just ruined Falcao, became a shell of himself and we shouldn’t have gone near him.
Woodward just wanted big name signings - Falcao, Zlatan, Di Maria, Pogba. Never mind they weren't suitable for various reasons.

Yeah his first month or so was great, then he basically forgot (or chose not to) to perform basic football skills. He was one of the biggest flops of all time

That 5-3 defeat to Leicester was his undoing. LVG was playing him in the free roaming CM role which he'd been dominating in for Real Madrid but after that defeat it was wing only and he was really poor there.

We played some beautiful football with that diamond midfield formation, but that 5-3 defeat to Leicester saw the end of that, and we just became a dire team playing boring football for the rest of LVG’s reign.

Yeah that result ended up being hugely significant. LVG basically shut up shop and served up extremely dire football immediately after that point. It banished Di Maria from the position where he was dominating, and I think that was basically the end of Rafael's United career as well.

Di Maria’s goal in that match was brilliant.

There has just been absolutely nothing about the sale lately. If those parasites don't leave i hope their are massive riots!!

It's ridiculous, seems a worry that they are still around and buying players, why would the do that if they were leaving? At the same time, if they were never leaving, surely Qatar would have figured that out a long time ago and bought another club by now. It's impossible to get a read on what's happening.

The Glazers aren't buying players so don't let that make you think they aren't going.

Romano saying we going in for Hojlund. This is turning out to be a pretty exciting window. Get Amrabat in later and it's looking good.
Reckon we'll get him. Assuming the fee can be kept reasonable.

After that point it will need sales.

Personal terms with Hojlund agreed. Gap in valuation but expected to be done. What a welcome change of pace.

Yep, for once the club appears competent in the transfer market. And it’s all to do with the Glazers busy focussing on the sale to have their hands all over transfer business.

Let's be honest, he's a more than handy back up CB. Yes he has issues on the ball but was very important for Leicester over the past few years.

Also points to Maguire leaving too.
