Would love to know why.

The comradery of this team has disappeared.

Would love to know our overall record since the Carabao Cup win last season. Said it at the time that so many players appeared to have this “we’ve made it” look about them, it’s seriously been all downhill ever since that game.

I think our defence is copping a bit too much heat. Fault totally lies on players ahead of them not tracking runners and their half-arsed defensive efforts.

We had Bayern streaming forward easily creating a 6 v 4 (our defence) constantly in the 2nd half. Mount and Amrabat have massive expectations on them now.

Hannibal having the ball in an acre of space in the middle of the park, having Bruno and Hojlund as options but passing the ball way too heavily sums up this side going forward. Just like when Hojlund had heaps of space and time with Bruno to his right but tries to take on the entire defence before meekly having a shot.

Only at Manchester United you spend the whole summer chasing your key CM target, only to then debut him as LB..
They mentioned on the commentary he has played in every outfield position.

Given our 3rd choice left back had just gone off it seemed fair enough for the last 3 minutes of the match.

Only saw the second half but good resolve shown to get a much needed win.

Hannibal looked very promising after a bit of a rusty start. Love the intensity he plays with and he was very comfortable on the ball once he'd settled in to that second half. Think him and Mainoo have to be getting minutes over McTominay moving forward.

I'm a really big fan of Hannibal Mejbri. He adds creativity and flair. He is just 20 years of age, so he has plenty of time to establish himself, but if he continues to show more and more of the shades of brilliance he has, he may not need much more time to establish himself. Mason Mount should be worried, because spending $114,000,000 AUD on him thus far is looking like a disaster. That goal by Bruno Fernandes was pure class. Bruno truly is one of the best in the Premier League and in Europe. In soccer, one moment can be all the difference between victory and failure. Bruno is great at delivering those moments. I wish Bruno could be more consistent with his impact on games, but you cannot deny that he's a top player. Rashford was disappointing. The player from last season hasn't been there thus far. Jonny Evans was really solid. He's looking like our best signing thus far. As Crimson King said above, Reguilon played quite well. Hojlund wasn't great, but he will take time, and he has me excited when the ball is at his feet. Overall, it was that one moment of brilliance from Fernandes that separated us. We need to be better, but hopefully this can be the start of a turnaround and get our season underway.
