We look infinitely better with Rooney in the middle (even though he failed to follow Lennon on their second goal) the only problem with that is he hates playing CM.

Our midfield has been shit for years but our defense has been the real standout for me this season, just shocking. We need Rafa on the park.

Yep, defence is awful and so is the midfield, our wingers are one trick ponys with the exception of januzaj.

Upfront we are fine with Rooney and RVP, but I fear they'll be off if we don't make the top 4, which isn't looking good with the form arsenal, city, Chelsea and Liverpool are in.

Massive task for Moyes.

Kagawa has the creativity we need, but he gets bullied off the ball too often.

Cleverly doesn't have the penetration to pass or dribble past midfielders. We have a lot of possession in our half.

DDG, Rafael, Vidic, Carrick, Januzaj, Welbeck, Jones, Smalling, RVP and Rooney are the only ones worth keeping.

Not sure if I missed anyone. If I have let me know and tell me why they should be added.

Problem for some of the above is age.

Evans is fine, obviously Zaha stays. Keen too see Lingard in a few years aswell, Henriquez and Powell should be servicable. How the hell is Bebe still with us?

Most of my list refers to guys who are regularly up for selection but agree Zaha, Lindgard and Powell to stay but not sure about Henriquez

Again its our wide players that **** me off. When an 18 year old academy graduate is our best option you know singings are needed.

Evra is woeful
Smalling is not a full back
Valencia is not a full back either (wtf was he doing for Eriksen's goal) and he is a shit winger also
Young has been good lately but it wont last
Wont even go near Nani

I think our midfield can survive with Rooney and Carrick in there. Add to that a fit and in form Fellaini and to me its actually a very good midfield.

The problem is that we dont play through the middle of the park, we play wide, and our wide options are deplorable. As soon as Rafael is injured we look so average down the right with Jones or Smalling. Full backs and wingers needed NOW.

Ill say it again, I dont know why we just dont play Zaha over Valencia etc. It cant get any worse than it already is. May as well give the kid maximum playing time so that he develops into the quality player we know he could one day become.

We've got many problems at the moment, Moyes needs to fix them. He needs to get rid of the players who are not upto it, sign some quality and then change the way he has us playing, it's boring and more importantly, not bloody working.

I'd love to see us with a dominant midfield and attacking through the middle, instead of going out wide all the time, that was good and worked a treat with Ronaldo, but with Nani, Valencia and Young, it's useless because they are crap.

Can't see Ferguson being the type to achieve so much with a club he loved, then retire only to watch it crumble before his eyes.

I agree he didn't leave Moyes with much to work with and retired at the right time before things got bad, but if SAF was still manager, i still don't think we would be title contenders this year, but we certainly wouldn't be 7th right now, probably 3rd.

This current squad had it's last hurrah last season, lots of deadwood and average players.

Someone needs to tell Evra he is a defender first. He just wants to attack and defend is a secondary objective. Just not as sharp at his 30+ age to recover his position.

Last season was pretty stunning when you consider we had a lot of the same battlers, Rooney injured and unhappy. I guess Fergie and RVP to a lesser extent were just that good.

I judge us on how good we are in Europe against the best, and we have brought no one in to progress in that competition (even though we have done well early and drawn well, shit will get ugly soon)

Think its pretty clear we need some central midfield creativity, a whole new set of wings and a young centre back with a bright future. Just to start.

Good wingers in the squad are imperative at Old Trafford, and at the moment ours are blunt axes, even Kagawa although he is better suited centrally has offered no goals/assists in his time on the park.
