I've had a look at the mandated childhood vaccinations for Australia, covid vaccine does not appear. Please point me to whatever it is you're reading and I'll be happy to do so too.

Covid vaccines have been removed from the list of recommended vaccinations for children, apart from immunocompromised etc. Previous Covid vaccine policies for children seem to have been memory holed, probably because they changed so much it would make it look like health authorities didn't know what they were doing.

See my link above, his comment at the time was he would literally donate his eyeballs to Stevie Wonder if the covid vax was not mandated for 5 years olds alongside other mandatory childhood vaccinations. He went on to declare it will be mandated in the next 12 months, not even a doubt about it.

I told him at the time it wouldn't happen, and now in 2024 when reminded about it again he is laughably, somehow, still pretending he was right

He seems to be attempting to evidence this insane position by imploring me to "Read the children’s vaccine policies. Read it". Well, I've read it and have no idea what he's talking about. I've asked him to link me to whatever it is he is reading to clarify. He is refusing to do that.

He's a bad faith poster, and on all available evidence simply a coward who cannot acknowledge he got something wrong. Covid completely broke a lot of people in the conspiracy space, we can only assume he is yet another casualty.

Its a weird thing I've noticed with some specific conspiracy board posters here, there are these pet topics for which exists this psychological incapability of admitting error. Covid and anything WEF/Klaus 2 pertinent examples - you can remind them of any set of undisputed facts contrary to their narrative, doesn't matter, they are right. It was probably unclear to many parents whether the Covid vaccines were part of the 'mandatory' list for childhood vaccines. The recommendations changed several times. When the government recommended that all children aged 5 years or older should receive a two-dose course of Covid vaccine they didn't specify whether non-vax would mean parents might lose benefits or their kids not allowed into school.

As of December 2021, 74.3% of Australian children under 12 were double vaxxed and 87.4% of 12 to 16 year olds (source wikipedia Australia vaccination statistics) which suggests a high degree of compliance.

But now the current health advice is that children should not be routinely vaccinated against Covid-19 - because the risk-benefit assessment does not stack up.
