1 Million per current refugee dear lord. The turn back policy has been successful to a degree but the fact that there are still so many in very long term detention is crazy. more so as this seems to be used by the government as a deterrent

ideally most would have eventually been let in on TPVs as has happened in the past.

Changed now, they still get in at 9-10 but everyone of them have gone by 4pm, oh and you forgot that when defence shuts down over Xmas for 4 weeks the public servants always stay back to "work" ie turn up for 30 minutes, check that someone sees them then head home for the rest of the day, that way they can save their leave credits up to use during the busy times of the year (and don't start on flex days).

They should just move Russell down to Batemans Bay over Xmas.

They should also stop and think about who runs these businesses and the flow on effect on stability of our neighbours. How much would a civil war or major riots in Indonesia have cost if Probowo bought the election on human trafficking funds?
