Geez i had one hell of an interesting sporting weekend with my sides.
- Manly come from behind to win a thriller.
- Western Force throw away another win and finish with a draw.
- We all know about the StKilda/Fremantle debacle.

just out of curiosity, who controls the time in a Rugby League game, is it the referee as in football/soccer, or the time keeper like in Australian Rules

thanks
There's an official timekeeper who stops the clock on signals from the referee and hits the siren when 40 minutes is played in the half. The referee then waits until the ball is out of play before signalling the end of proceedings.

The official rule is until a stoppage or the next play the ball.

That can be either a knock on, out of play, grounded in the in-goal or the next play the ball.
