Roddick's great for tennis. He is a top player, has a great sense of humour, and is always generous in his praise for an opponent who he has lost to. He's a breath of fresh air in a stuffy world of self-absorbed so-called "champions".

BTW: I don't include Federer in that group ... he IS a champion.

Back to Marat, he is also great for the game. Always amusing to see how many pieces his racquet will be in :)
Need more headcases like him!
 
That was a great match between two players. I'm a big Safin fan but I was very impressed by Roddick's performance.

Whether you like Roddick's personality or not you can't deny how much he's improved since Jimmy Connors came on board to coach him. Some of the shots Roddick was playing wasn't feasible for him even a year ago.
