Im going to go with Marc Murphy and Josh ...

Because Marc is going to be an absolute Superstar and Josh is coming along nicely and performing well after having completed his first proper pre-season.

I'm struggling to understand the poll.

1) Murphy/Kennedy play for the same team

2) Murphy/Kennedy are a forward/midfield combo while Jones/Higgins are a midfield duo.

Having said that I'll select Jones/Higgins as Jones is a gun, Higgins looked hot in the NAB, while Kennedy is a sardine.

I don't quite follow the logic either... I thought once you had specified Murphy/Kennedy we would have something like Monfries/Gumbleton or Mitchell/Franklin to compare...

Though perhaps that's just how you wanted it, in which case fair enough.

Higgins is a gun, however I haven't seen enough of Jones to justify passing on Murphy/Kennedy... so the midfield/forward combo for me.

I don't know who Higgins is. I've seen a bit of Jones - ordinary. Murph and Kennedy have superstar potential. I suspect this is a talk-up thread for Bulldogs and Dees fans. :)

The reason why i picked these two players is because my mate reckons that kennedy is sh.it and reckons murphy is over rated. So he said he would rather these two. jones / higgins.

I've got a better question,

In 30 years time, who will be the better player?

a) The number 1 draft pick in the 2025 draft

OR

b) The number 67 pick in the 2030 draft

haha, more gold from the stubborn **** talker. If you are telling the truth (which is unlikely), and don't actually know who Higgins is, then we have yet more proof of your football ingorance. If ANYTHING you said was true, then the next 15 Brownlow winner will come from Carlton:eek:

Jones, is a much fitter smarter version of Moloney except he cant kick as far. has the ball winning ability. sam mitchell type. not overly skilled but has everything else and at melbourne we dont need any more outside skilled players we need Jones. Lock him in for rising star

Can't believe the Gold Coast Kangaroos passed him up at pick 65 for that American kid and that the Hobart Hawks didn't take him at pick 66 either....who would have thunk it!

Is it also because you are a Carlton supporter..

The only reason Carlton's pair will win this poll is because of Murphy. Kennedy is a dud..

Allow me to break down some simple logic for you:

Murphy > Higgins & Jones

Therefore:

Murphy & Kennedy > Higgings & Jones

Well said C4..Murphy is something special and everybody knows that not only Carlton supporters

Although Kennedy hasnt shown alot as yet neither have Higgins & Jones in my opinion but atleast Kennedy has the excuse that bigger guys take longer to mature..what excuse do the other guys have???NONE

Murphy/Kennedy by a mile!!!!!!

A more suitable poll would be Kennedy (Carl) vs a pile of dog ****...
Kennedy>>>>>>>>>>>>>>pile of dog ***>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ian prendagast>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Andrew eccles>>>>>>>>>>Roughead

Atleats we have delisted our crap and arent still holding our breath thinking they will be good...

oh yeah Roughhead has had an extra season at AFL level than Kennedy and still showed bugger all
