I doubt it, he may indeed help coach them though.....Wonder if he will couch Peel?

I would disagree with your usage of term cutting when Goddard leaves due to F/Agency, NDS will probably get traded and Mcevoy got traded for a quick midfielder which is what they need.
Anyways as for Webb- all Im saying is that his development as a coach is hindered by the fact that all of his coaching experience is at clubs on upswing and that its hard to get as gauge on how good he is as a coach given the talent he has coached, much the same as Watters at Subi.

Perhaps Webb was the driving force at Subi as well (as captain and assistant)
Simon Mcphee was a better coach and developer of players IMHO.. but you cant argue with the amount of success that has followed Webb wherever he goes![]()
Top team going out in straight sets doesn't scream great coach to me.
I count zero AFL players in the prelim final team. East Perth has a bunch of Eagles (insert gag about them not being AFL players either).Espically with the cattle he could call upon.
Had a lot of AFL players running around in that team.

It appears the last time they had an AFL player actually play was in round 20 (Silvagni and Macginnity). If memory serves Silvagni was specifically held out from the finals by Fremantle.
There seems to be a common thread emerging that coaches who did their apprenticeships under The Grumpy One struggle with man-management, especially when it comes to senior players.
