Romeo cooling race 1 - Cheltenham - place $1.90
Yeah not willing to take the risk on the favs. Better odds for the places. They are rather short like you said.Few shorties today at Cheltenham be interesting what the end of the day result is. Bookies or punters, will be a wipeout either way.
Last to first last 200m, 4th to first last 100mJingo Baie - top 2 in race of 5. $2.05
Probably comes down to the number of horses they have in the stable. Busted And Old, Maher, Waller all the big stables would give the silver spoon treatment to the "better credentialed" horses and treat all the others with lip service.Just wondering about any owners on this board?
I’ve got 2 horses, one on Sunshine Coast, horse cost 8k, is very promising and looks to be in for a terrific second campaign. She kicks off again Sunday at SC F&M BM 58 and will be hard to beat (Name is Loken)
Trainer has done a terrific job, updates, photos transparency.
The other one I have here is with Bussutin/Young.
What an awful experience, horse is slow as a wet week, they talked me out of a better performed horse to go in this one, when I raised concerns about its breeding Trent basically scoffed at me.
No updates or honesty from those two, won’t return calls or messages and get quite shirty if you question things.
Goes to show nothing is guaranteed but experiences like this is what turns people off ownership.
100% spot on.Probably comes down to the number of horses they have in the stable. Busted And Old, Maher, Waller all the big stables would give the silver spoon treatment to the "better credentialed" horses and treat all the others with lip service.
I treat them as a scratching in the form guide. You might be best looking at a country trainer. Someone like a Dabernig or similar.100% spot on.
They are rude and dismissive of owners.
The horse I have has 3 full siblings in NZ, they are all useless, I bought this up with Trent and he scoffed at me like I didn’t know what I was talking about.
I really liked a horse now called King of Enterprise but 2 of the stable reps really swayed me into an unbelievably slow Savabeel that they kept talking up.
Then when you give feedback they don’t reply or they get the shits.
Never again with that stable.
Hey Axl, I am in a syndicate that owns a few hairs of a horse with Phillips Stokes. Hasnt raced yet, but plenty of info and video updates (almost weekly)Just wondering about any owners on this board?
