Adams is a tough case for the Bulldogs. He has one year left and given his request/considerations he's unlikely to sign a new contract extension with them. He has value for them in being traded now not next year when he is out of contract and can use the PSD to get back to WA.
I also doubt they'd 'build' their backline with a guy that they know more than likely won't be there the following season.

It is a difficult one for them and given the apparent reason behind his 'homesickness' doesn't seem likely to change it's unlikely their undoubtedly strong culture will influence him to change his mind.

As much as I love Snos - I reckon his body is just not durable enough - I'd be happy to get Adams in now and see whether someone else will pick up Snos...

hadn't played much footy before this season Afaik

had a pretty serious foot injury though which are hard to fix, kept being listed at 4 weeks and never got better
Just checked, didn't miss a game for West Perth in '14 and '15. Didn't play at all in '12 and only a part of '13 which I assume is because of the issue with his brother Luke.

Melbourne's strong culture change Mitch Clark's mind.

Yeah so not much of a base to go on seeing as he has got that serious foot injury in his third season

I'd love it but I think with Hamling signing Adams will become a priority for dogs, or he'll see more likelihood of a starting 22 spot at wet toast.
But man, I would love to see it...

Maybe but Jonno probably will play his last year. I really hope we get him. His rebounding would be a great asset for the club

Think its been mentioned elsewhere to swap Sam Collins for Marcus Adams

From their clubs website:

Height - Collins 194 Adams 193

Weight - Collins 92 Adams 95

DOB - Collins 15/06/94 Adams 30/06/93

Debut - Both 2016

Games - Collins 12 Adams 11

2015 Draft - Collins 55 Adams 35

Fantasy Points - Collins 712 Adams 736

Fantasy Average - Collins 59 Adams 67

Straight swap if Collins agrees to going home?
Might benefit both clubs and both players

You think Collins is a better player than Adams? Adams showed much more than Collins this year imo, the only reason the value would be the same is because of the lisfranc injury that we would want to be certain is under control

Collins seems to have more of a upside in him. From a developing key position point of view I would pick Collins any day

I would pick Collins every day of the week over Adams. He should be one of the few untouchables when it comes to trading.

Assuming Hamling and A Pearce are fit, I don't have Collins in the 22 as you can only play two KPD's.

I would swap him for Adams, and then resign Silvagni for a year as cover.

I know your a Freo supporter but I think you might be own your own in that thinking. Adams was outstanding for a fair part of the year, would love him at Freo injury permitting.

I think Hamling would make for a better small defender than a gorilla key back anyway. He can keep up with the smalls and beat them in reach.

Yeah, def's dont agree with you Deathly but to each their own. Collins didnt show anywhere near as much as Adams for mine, he definitely isn't untradeable. I think Adams (if fit) is a decent upgrade on Collins. I would easily do next years second and Collins for Hamling and Adams if the Dogs let us and I think Hamling is worth about pick 35-40 this year.
