This guy looks like a steal at pick number 43. I have a strong feeling he will become a regular in your squad and a coaches favourite. The way he moves with and without the ball suggests he will be a good to very good player. He reads the play very well and sets up and creates from half back. In many ways i think he is better than Brock Mclean skills wise. Great tackling ability as well. All in all what a complete steal and will be a top 30-40 AFL player in a few years.

I agree, he's got the size and strength to be a very good AFL player and plays that half back role quite well.

However he does have some limitations with his decision making and disposal, so long as he doesn't try and take everybody on everytime he has the ball he should be alright.

Why not? He's got a good teacher in Paulie Bower ;):p:D

He got quite a bit of the ball in the intra-club match on Friday, but some of his kicking let him down. Could have been nerves, could have been the tempo of the game, or a bit of both. What was pleasing was that he actually got the ball, and he'll be better off for the run. Will be one to watch throughout the year.

Definately attacked the ball hard at our intra-club, is built like brick shithouse as well. Solid unit.
Hopefully a solid player.

^^^ Troll

to me both davies and white sound like undersized key defender but both are tough as nails, have good pace, sound skill and are hard workers. im hoping we get to see them play this saturday

Look for an Aaron Joseph type development path for Davies. Has great running endurance, work ethic and ability to stick to a task. Expect him to develop in the VFL this year doing a lot of run with roles and after a year in the system and another pre-season with his dedication he may well earn a spot in the team.
