Well it wasn't a massive week of upset but there were a few unexpected results that made things interesting. North and Collingwood has rather modest victories against modest opposition resulting in a few people earning small points this week but the sis people that picked hawthorn all got a healthy boost of 53 (thought perhaps not as healthy as they were expecting pre-game). Congrats to Billy ray DroopStDanny iluvparis hufus Smeg Head and Raveneyes who all got pick of the week.

Miss of the week I'm going with something a bit different - even though the Bombers upset the eagles (and a couple of people tipped them) I think I have to give the nod to the six people who picked North and missed a massive opportunity to jump up later in the year with wasting their North pick for one of their poorer performances of the season. After all, this is a marathon, not a sprint. It's all about maximising your opportunities to score. (you know, the opposite of what Carlton, Gold Coast and St Kilda appear to be doing this year :P)

I'll shame those six people (including myself in next post)

Not much change in the ladder either (to come) with only a few minor place switches.

Anyway, the byes are done. Now the X's on the board are a little more sparse as more and more teams are being picked. Strategy will be paramount over the next few weeks so hope you've all been paying attention.

If you fail to get a tip in by Thursday night this week, you're on Adelaide. There are NO exceptions this week so tagging will start on Wednesday morning.
 
The six shameful people who picked North this week by the way - miss of the week going to Wooshette (who loses top spot as a result), NaturalDisaster , OES , Agent93 and two more...
 
Also, Morganashlee and Dips find themselves with miss of the week although dishonourable mentions go to CakeEater and raskolnikov who used their jokers up on West Coast costing them big points as both lost a whopping 56 points.

The ladder didn't offer much in the way of movement but we do have a new leader in iluvparis who finds himself back on top after a handsome victory to the Hawks.

The two biggest movers of the week were Smeg Head and DroopStDanny who both jumped up three spots while five people dropped two spots, but two of them also lost 56 points in CakeEater and raskolnikov taking them down to the second and third last place.
