If you think he is the answer to our prays... There aint no god...

Will be lucky to play 50 games in his AFL career...

Slow, injury prone and poor skills...

But at least he looks like a CHB....
At least you always sound like a fool, because you clearly have a bad eye for talent.

Austin isn't slow and a bad kick.

If Austin was a 21 year old unknown playing well in the VFL, everyone would be excited like they are with Isaac Smith.

Fickle.

I had big hopes for Mark in 2010
After showing great signs in 2009 I thought he would come along this year
Injuries really destroyed his year and he was behind the eight ball after that
He has all the attributes to be CHB - size, defensive abilities and pace and disposal as well
Like a few of our young players he has fragile confidence
I doubt the club will get rid of him so he has another pre-season to work hard and put his name up for a spot in our 22 for 2011 and beyond!

Slow, injury prone and poor skills...

Injuries are a worry no doubt, but I would've thought his skill level - particularly kicking - is up there with size, spoiling, marking and courage as the strengths in his game from what I've seen of him.

Plus we have no-one else who can currently step into CHB. If Gwilt can do it, Aussie can.

Don't forget to knit me a cardigan at the footy next year.

"If" - If you had an idea you would be worth listening too....

He was a forward originally wasn't he? Why not play him CHF and give Hendo a run at CHB?

Because Hendo is our next premiership CHF. Simple really.;)

he'll come good, still young people tend to forget. how tall is he and much does he weigh

Always injured. Needs to get fit and needs to be persisted with to learn his trade. He played well in the VFL final. He just needs to pull it together. He will be competing with Simon White for a Spot in 2010 me thinks.

why do people keep saying that Simon White will be a KPD?? maybe in the maggoos but he's just not big enough at 190cm to cut it against the CHF's of the AFL. However I did like what I saw when he played, has the poetential to be a better Bret Thornton.

Aussie, at 193cm is the perfect size and our best hope at CHB if he can get his body right, but I'm hoping we can get some good competition for him from the trade/draft table, as we really really need some depth here.:)
