Blake wasn't good at all. He got mauled in the ruck by Minson. It was a pasting. Ottens had to take over and only then we started to get a couple of taps.

Let's face it, Blake can't run, kick, mark and can hardly ruck.

Waste of space.

Ditto some others.

I'll be accountable for what I've said in the past.

i dont know, he set up a fair few of their forward thrusts, i actually thought johnstone was one of their better players. better than moloney who played one good quarter and got in the best.

Blake has shown consistent improvement over the last 2 years and he is the man to take over from Kingy. He played very well and considering how White toweled him up last year, Blake certainly got a measure of revenge this year.

He's always just needed the time and experience to show he seriously has a hold on the mantle of being our second-best ruckman.

Got to concede that I have bagged him unmercifully in the past and didn't think him capable of his performance on the weekend. Still has a way to go but for the first time on the Sunday I thought that this kid may, just may be ok.

Most people with a clue knew Blake hasalways had ability. I have said for three years he could play, while people on here said he was not up to it. Will be a handy player for Geelong.

King is still the number 1 choice but Blake will get his 15 games.

i think he showed even a bit more today and i was way more confident having him around than king - he jumps, runs and is dynamic in general play.
