Only the 2nd rookie and first Cat B rookie to reach the milestone. The spakfilla footballer.
Should be a good night to celebrate the career to date of Mr Fixit.

Will be the 2nd quickest to reach the 300 game mark in 13 years and 16 days, behind only Adam Goodes.

2022 Premiership player
2022 All Australian
2015, 2018 Geelong Best and Fairest.

Still seems like a new guy to me.

Weird.

Is this the best backfire in BF history?

That 7 tribute neglects that we also used Blicavs as a tagger for a while there. I'm pretty sure there was one game when he utterly quashed Pendles. Scalps don't come much better than that.

Fun fact - Mark Blicavs holds the record for most games played while only ever having one senior coach throughout his career, which is pretty good if you ask me.

I know someone on our board mentioned Gordon Coventry only playing under Jock McHale, but Coventry played 1 game under caretaker coach Bob Rush.

300 games is an amazing feat, and in Blicavs' case made all the more so as he did not come through the traditional pathways. While his initial position on the list was to do with athletic profile more than talent, he had to learn how to football while playing at the highest level, and had had to do so across multiple positions on the ground.

Applause is very well deserved 👏

That explains why he would ride or die for Chris Scott. Does anything asked with no complaints. Tom Atkins would be the other one I would say is "Scott's boy" so to speak. Lives and breathes the process and the messaging.
