did Bolton get injured ? he had only 5 touches didnt he ? lets hope he has a career ending knee injury in teh last game.

That's a bit harsh,
atleast give him another go at another club if Essendon get rid of him.

We`re 15 th for a reason we know we`re ****, we were there to be bent over, where does that leave richmond ?

For the 2nd year in succsession we're heading upwards.

For the third year in succsession, you're heading downwards.

We firmly believe we're on the way up... How long do you think it is till you could genuinley believe the same about your club?

2 years, 3 years, 4 or more?

:)

we`ve exchanged posistions, we have become richmond, IE, ****house, fumbling along the bottom and hoping to pick up some good youngsters. richmond have become Essendon, fumbling around the middle of the table, missing the good picks( without the final apearances though)

2004 - 16
2005 - 12
2006 - 9 (yes, currently ninthmond again)

Nothing to write home about just yet. Let's wait and see.

No dodgy " they firmly believe" "firmly"

That's correrct, and any non-demented and clear thinking footy fan would agree.

BTW, someone really should thank Bolton for that pass to Johnson... Where does he get such fine skills like that?

I mean that's just instinctual, you cant teach a player that kinda work:thumbsu:

You're kidding yourself if you think the Tigers are going anywhere. Middle of the table is as good as it gets for them. Watch your stocks drop as Richo gets older.

I could say more but really everything that can be said about Bolts has been said. Good bloke, good clubman, very average footballer:(

My My ... How quickly Tiger fans forget about draft bungles ...

heres a few to help you remember:
  • Aaron Fiora pick #3 ----> Should have taken: Matthew Pavlich #4
  • Jarrod Oakley Nichols #8 ----> should have taken: Mitch Clark #9
  • Richard Tambling #4 ----> should have taken: Lance Franklin #5
Then again, every club makes drafting mistake (we took Luke Livingston).. its pretty foolish to go off at another club for the same thing.

you can't say that Oakley Nicholls has hardly played got great pace could be a great player and tambling id still take him over franklyn and i think so would many richmond supporters, if you saw his goal last night thats just a little bit of what he can do but fair enough Fiora ill always hate him, hes actually a joke

I dont know about Tambling over Franklin but that is not to say Tambling wont be a good player. It is way too early to make a call on Oakley Nicholls given he has had a few injuries this year.

Would I be the only one wanting Rioli to play the last game against the Dogs....he was around it early...not sure if I want that to be his final game...anyone else agree?

I'm hesitant to comment on Dean Rioli these days ;), but no you wouldn't be the only one.

Be nice to see him finish with a win but it was his last game last night, sadly.

At the chance of getting shot down here, Ill go as far as saying I wish he had've connected with that coathanger early in the game...leave them something to remember him by. Nevertheless, Ill still take that goal from just on 50 as a highlight.

1. You want me to defend bolton ? the sun really has frazzled your brain.
2. Richmond have improved, well done, they were starting from a very low base. There is not a flag with your current group, a few meaningless wins, yes, flag ? drugs.

swans won one, Freo look as though they could go close, be very careful making statements like that windy!...we're a couple of players shy, but at this rate we,ve had more rising star Noms than you guys have had wins so things can be turned around pretty quickly

It'll be quite a while longer before the Tigers will be tasting premiership success. Theyve never been able to last an entire season, their improvement stagnates just as they seem to put it together on the park...Richo is their barometer...and Wallace wont be the coach that will ultimately take them to premiership glory....should they ever finish higher than 6th at the end of any given H & A season.

footy's a game that works in cycles my friend, this years flag will be won from any one of Freo, crows swans or WC, 3 seasons ago you wouldn't have given snowflakes hell of a chance , geez Ess were even a fair side back then...Momentum takes a while to build we have it now and with an average age of 19 means there is plenty of upside ... we'll be alright :thumbsu:

I reckon Ben Dixon ended Bolton's career last week. Sheedy didnt have the confidence in Bolton-an experienced player- to go back on Richo.
Mark Bolton- good clubman, fair player, Terrible draft choice

We're not far behind and our average age would pretty much be around the 20-22 mark also..perhaps lower after this year's drafts. Almost 25 years since your last....thats a great deal of momentum you're measuring ;)

Dixon's having a bit of a purple patch with their current structure. May have played him into form too

cheeky pr#$@ :p , two years ago we finished last with 4 wins..so im pretty happy with progress weve made since then , I wouldnt have thought we're trying to win a flag with the same group that bumbled its way through the 80s and 90s so its pretty irrelevant, just as it is to suggest you guys will be a force again next year coz you won a flag a few seasons back
