His latest gem. Talkiing to Brad Hodge about once again missing out Aust selection, then throws this in...."do you still enjoy making runs??"

How this guy continues to makes a living from this is still one of life's great mysteries.
 
Although I very rarely listen to him. The few times I have I found the interviews to be really good. It was more a case of letting a sports star tell there story rather than have a interviewer cut them off mid sentence to change subject.

I find the morning glory and afternoon shift shocking when it comes to interviews as the are cut off mid sentence during each question. And then finally ending with a sorry we have to go to the our sports central update before they can finish what they are saying.

The reason being that Snoran, having the siesta shift, has more time and is less rushed in his interviews.

KB is 10 times the interviewer. When he talks to someone you actually get the impression he knows about this person, whereas Snoran always sounds like he read their bio off Wikipedia 15 minutes beforehand.

I really can't wait for when he interviews Anthony Rocca some day then. Hopefully he's wiki page hasn't been "vandalised" by then.

Even better still is when the MG get someone on for an interview at around 7.25am after the ad breaks,by the time they get talking its 7.27am leaving a whole 3 minutes before the 7.30 news,wide ranging interviews those ones!
 
Dunno if anyone caught this but yet another stuff up by Doran yesterday on SEN. At the start of his show he gives his rundown on whats ahead and mentions how he's gunna talk to Anthony Rocca to see if he's spoken to Sav about the Eagles fantastic win and their path to the Superbowl???? Im thinking "wot the" having just watched Benny and Cards get over the line.
But he goes on about it further for another couple of minutes saying wot a great story it is for Sav and how Anthony can now try and follow Sav's footsteps to the Superbowl among other things and Im just thinking you've got no idea do you??? He even tried to add in little bits about the game making out he watched it and knew wot was going on but to his shame, about15mins later after his first interview was finished he has had to apologize for his error saying that he reckons he had just got out of a meeting just minutes b4 going on air and that the Cards never looked like winning........wot a crock!!! Doesnt know wot he's talking about and makes out as if he does!!!!
 
I had to laugh at the "best of Mark Doran" over the summer break. Does he have a best? If so it could probably be condensed into a 3 hour program.
Looking back on the thread I also see that he has been accused of flirting with Rita, there is no doubt he tries this every week. He just sounds like a schoolboy with poor confidence talking to a girl for the first time. As for Rita, she is forthright but she is starting to become like Doran herself in that anyone who disagrees with her views are verbally assaulted. She is protected with what she says by cutting off people mid-stream on the phone, or making fun of someone who sends in a text message. Harf needs to be stronger and say that it is not on.
Keep up the good work lets get this clown off the airwaves.
 
And WHATS ON THE RADIO. I'll tell you BORIN DORAN CRAP CRAP and MORE CRAP with your st st st stuttering mate MATT FLOGSON. The worst four hours on SEN everyday. Get rid of the twit.

I had to SMS in today when he was talking to Nathan Bracken. Doran kept referring to McCallum (instead of McCullum) over and over, so i mentioned that the presenter of a Sports Program probably should know the name of NZ's best player and one of the best players in thw world.

It may be a lot of small things, but it constantly shows that he has a complete lack of sporting knowledge, stuff a sports person really should know. Very frustrating - especially if he is speaking to a sportsman at the time, it makes him come off as a dumb arse.

you know what, he's done that all summer. does this stupid mother****er know anything about anything? does he go home and read any sports news, look at any sports websites. the worst thing about the mccullum/mccallum thing is that it started to make me think twice about what this guys name is!
is he arrogant or just plain stupid?

lol, he's making us all have a meltdown.
today for a couple of minutes he called tim cahill, tim carl. i understand some people pronounce cahill-carl but even the man himself pronounces it cahill. he corrected himself soon after i sent a nasty text in telling him to have a good look at himself.

Yes, very embarrassing. Dylan Howard is another fool who is lazy to do his research and the 'SB preview on SEN on the Sunday' was nothing short of appaulling. :thumbsd: Perhaps the ferrett has an little idea about the game but I just laughed when he said he was a 'big fan' of the game.. :rolleyes:

They need real people like myself to 'overlook their discussion points' so I can advise them to talk like experts instead of idiots who have little / no idea. Can't wait to see the Jonathon Brown ad that is suppose to degrade the physical game impact of Gridiron.. once again the 'insecurity' within the one dimension Aussie Rules supporters mind is bewildering to say the least.

Doran showed his lack of knowledge in of the entertainment world yesterday as well. He has been talking about Heath Ledgers win, then about 15 minutes later he said that Kate Winslet had won best actress and it was another win for us.

lol, maybe he was confused with Blanchett and Winslet? Christ, can anybody find a subject that Doran actually knows something about??? :D
 
Listening to SEN today and was ready to switch off when Doran came on after KB'S show. I thought I would assault my senses by listening to the Ferrets opening piffle when surprise, surprise. Tony Schibecci is standing in, already 100 percent better.
