Jamar was beaten in the ruck by Hale just on the number of hitouts, which went close to 2 to 1 against Melbourne. Hale is a good example of what you'd like to see in a 2nd ruck/forward, though there's also Roughead who is a much more damaging version of Leigh Brown. What Hawthorn do lack is a true first ruck but they were not disadvantaged tonight.
