He'll turn 31 in August and will likely be offered a new one-year deal at WC. But I wonder if any other clubs would offer him two years?

He was once a very handy player but his form has dropped away since 2015, when he kicked 45 goals. That said, he could yet offer something to a top 8 side that needs another mid-sized goalkicker. Someone like Melbourne, perhaps?

Are there likely to be any nibbles? Or has his reputation taken too much of a hit due to patchy performances?

Similar older players recently to change clubs have been Chapman or Johnson. Both still had a reputation as matchwinners (and have been for their new clubs).
Not so sure about LeCras and he probably played his best footy as a pure forward which has been some time ago by now. So I'd say unlikely bit stranger things have happenend in footy...

He should retire. Though GWS have a knack of picking up oldies who look past it and making them wind the clock back.

Would have very little interest to any side aiming for September given his woeful efforts in finals. And I see no reason for any young or rebuilding side to offer a contract to a 31 yo who disintegrates mentally when the stakes are high.

Perhaps no. We have Petracca and Hannan filling the mid-sized goalkicker role already. We have other holes on our list that need filling before we look at recycling 31 year olds who look past it.

Yeah, yeah. People say s**t like this every year.

I don't reckon many WC supporters thought Drew Petrie would come in handy either.

Picking up a cheap, experienced ruckman from a shallow pool for a year while your two best rucks are injured long term is a slightly different scenario to recycling a past it small marking forward who doesn't fill a need.
