Been reported over the Perth radio yesterday that LeCras will join Freo as an assistant mainly focused on the skills based side of the game. Love that news if true.

Exactly what he should be teaching. The man had fantastic skills as a player hence why he was an absolute star for a few years, coz he wasnt quick(on his legs) or big. Very clever player with a vast skill set.

If Longmuir hadn’t of played his footy at Freo, to offset the stint at WC as an assistant, you can almost guarantee he never would of got the head coaching gig.

Apart from the fact that a large majority of fans were happy to see a former player who was prided on his skill come in and teach the players better skills (God knows we need it). All I saw over social media were West Coast fans complaining about seeing him in Fremantle colours. Not to discredit those that were upset with the appointment on our end, which there were, but a large majority are extremely happy.
