Just out of curiosity, does anyone on this board know where mark nicoski is at the moment? A few of the boys think we spotted Him in Croatia but seeing as though he denied it, we'd love some confirmation

but it wouldn't surprise me if he was over-seas just taking a load off. you spend so much more time dedicated to football when you're injured funnily enough and they've probably just given him a break to freshen up, get his mind clear, so he can come back to training with a clear mind and good mentality.

i think collingwood sent luke ball to europe?

I heard his hair is on hiatus training in Europe. You just think he's gone because he's unrecognisable without the hair.

We have to lose three players from our senior list at the end of the season.

Embley is all but certain to retire, Nicoski is next on the list to lose his spot in one way or another.

What is the market value for him?

Very injury prone, but his best is outstanding.

He would add instant value to a Melbourne. Him and Hams would give them some more goal scoring options which they really lack.

I think that's part of Melbourne's problem, recruiting players past their best - Rodan, Byrnes.

Nicoski is so injury prone, he's risk factor at an 30 is massive.

If he moves else where, another club would only pick him up for depth, not to be too reliant on him.

Is Nico even in our best 22 now?

Unfortunatley for Nicco (I've long been a BIG fan of his, despire being highly injury prone) he isn't.

I was critical of Hill prior to the North Melbourne game, and his final quarter against Brisbane launched his season.

He kicked a goal, and had a goal assist in the final quarter, when the game was up for grabs.

He then kicked 3 majors against North and was our best forward, and one of our best five players.

Nicco's 29, very injury prone, and has been succeed by Hill.

If Hill gets injured and Nicco's fit he is the direct replacement.

With the game changing to three interchange players and one sub, that has killed off a HFF player and been replaced by an on-ballers who rotates in that position.
