Ok, so in the Bulldogs v North game tonight, Jake Stringer had a set shot from about 35-40m on an acute angle out with the scores level and about 55 seconds on the clock. His kick goes through for a behind and Ricciuto's contribution is "That's the worst possible result for them". Anthony Hudson instantly responds with "Well, it gives them the lead." A lead which they managed to retain to win the game by...one point.

Now...Ricciuto is a special comments man. His job is to provide insight and analysis that wouldn't be obvious to those watching at home. With that in mind, that remark is about as s**t as you can get from someone in that role. We hear a lot about player and umpire clangers which should see them dropped back to the lower leagues. Well, I think an error like the one that Ricciuto made should see him relegated to commenting VFL and SANFL games for a month, until he shows a basic aptitude for understanding what's going on.

Thought that too, you could tell even Huddo was like 'wtf?'.
