Well Kalac has been keeping very well recently apparently and perhaps he deserves to have a chance at being Australia's #1.

Schwarzer has, is and always will be a decent average keeper.

Hardly easy to catch when its low down from a short distance at your left foot. I dare say Kalac would have done the same thing. The issue with that goal was how easy Fuller smoked Laybutt and Vidmar

And din't Andy Harper say he was subbed at half time because he had a minor ankle problem?

It was a good save

The defending was the problem.

Have you ever actually been in goals NS? It appears not.

Good performance but really shows our main weaknesses again. Can't put chances away and give away really soft goals.

Harry should have had six!!

Maybe a good save, but a better keeper would have held the ball.

I have been between the posts many times, and there is no way that ball should've been allowed to spill right into the face of goal. A tame shot that should've been held.

Yes the defending was garbage, but the last line of defence was even worse.

It pains me to say it but Schwarzer is keeping terribly at the moment. He should have held the ball, exactly the same stuff up that cost Boro the 1st goal v Arsenal.

Schwarzer is flatout crap. He's conceding 1000 each week at Boro and his last 4 performances for the Socceroos have been p|ss poor.

I reiterate:

Uruguay in Montevideo: Poor positioning for the first, dodgy attempted save for the second, no idea for the third.

England in London: Fluffed a kickout straight to Owen who luckily hit side netting.

Ireland in Dublin: Nice rockstar jump you clown. O'Morrison scores O'Winner.

Jamaica in London: Tame save... probably could've done more instead of deflecting it straight into Lisbie's path. Kalac looked 1000 times safer and the defence looked more solid and calm with Spider behind them.

What p|sses me off about Frankie's insistance on Schwarzer is he's been playing crap for some time now both at club level and international level - meanwhile Kalac is keeping cleansheets in the toughest league in the world against some of the meanest strikers on the planet.

What, by catching it one handed in the palm of his hand like a slip fielder? I don't think any 'keeper would've caught that shot unless they had a palm as big as the ball. It was a good save, he was just unlucky it fell straight to Lisbie.

Probably not - but my patience is at an end. Those heroics vs France at CC2001 are loooooooooooooooong gone.

Kalac for Prime Minister, President, King and Dalai Lama ;)
