It's about list management. Seaby fills a gaping hole. That 23-28 year old ruckmen. Hes right at the start of that. You cant get that in the draft.no thanks. what happened to developing our own?

And he's versatile too, not a big loping ruckmen.
those stats are pretty impressive jimmy
i would go 3rd rnd + JON, maybe someone different for him
or 3rd, 4th, Polo, JON for Seaby and 2nd Round
And for those who want Warnock instead. Well they both play at the same WAFL club, Seaby absolutely head and shoulders over Warnock. Seaby domainates the WAFL in a huge way. Warnock was chucking hissy fits and trying to get cheap touches on the flanks. Just because Warnock looks smoother does not mean he is a better player. Or even close.
Seaby has got 3 years on Warnock - of course he's better at this point. 3 years is a very, very long time for a 21 year old ruckman, particularly a very lightly built and very tall one. If Warnock hasn't exceeded what Seaby has achieved so far in 3 years time, there will be a lot of very, very surprised people out there.
We'd get a 2nd rounder outright for Seaby.
As I said before, unproven blokes like Wood and Jolly went for first rounders.
I'm saying Warnock is a dud, he is talented
BUT
If he was as good as (Freo) people say, and Seaby is as crap as (some) people say, then I would have expected more than West Perth's ruck division being 90% run by Seaby.
Pick 26 is about right for Seaby
i would love if the above happend. but we might not even make a play for seaby. if we get hartlett. omg. cant wait to the draftI would like to keep 8 and pick up the best midfield option at that pick, trade 26 to the Eagles in return for Seaby and their 3rd round pick. That way we would get to add depth to our midfield, would get the ruckman we need and would still have 3 picks inside the first 3 rounds.
If Cameron can pull this sort of deal off then I'm sure he would win over quite a few doubters on this board.
wishes to be traded, we could get him pretty cheap. i reckon he would be better to go for than Warnock.
This is what happens when you neglect ruckmen in list management. Forced to pay over the odds for ordinary players. If we give up our second rounder for him it would be very disappointing.
Another year of trading picks for players and not the other way around it looks like. We will never learn.
We are already having talks with the Eagles regarding the deal.i would love if the above happend. but we might not even make a play for seaby. if we get hartlett. omg. cant wait to the draft
