So you don't think that the Tigers would be willing to part with pick 26 for Seaby?

Because as far as I know, West Coast are after a late first to early second round pick. Whether they get that or not is another story but I can imagine Melbourne giving away pick 19 for him.

26 will get us a good player I would hope - I just don't see it as worthwhile overloading on ruckmen with Graham staying on. Seaby won't win us a flag so he's not worth sacrificing a component of our continued rebuild, which 26 is for me. 8 to 42 is too great a gap.

Whoever quoted that post from the other forum sums up my thoughts quite profoundly. 'Tis like I typed them myself.

Additionally, he's a bible-basher which just makes him that little bit less endearing to me.

I'd be elated with that trade, but they have no mention of Thomson or Harris, and say that we're looking to "beef up our backline".
