He's actually a very good ruckman that unfortunately only plays 10% of game time due to Dean Cox.

Seaby and McKinley for a second round pick plus Myers? I doubt we will be trading a former first round draft choice. Throw in Brent Staker to sweeten the deal and I'm sure something can be worked out

Seriously Seaby is terrible!!! How can a guy that has played 100 games (all recent ones very ordinary) be worth a 2nd round pick?????
Here are the facts:
1. Seaby has done nothing since the Eagles won there last flag
2. He is back up to a guy (Cox) who as an absolute Champion and should be able to shine when Coxy has out rucked and tired out the oppositins ruckmen
3. What has changed for Seaby since the flag win? Answer: Absolutely nothing except No Cousins, No Judd, No Braun, Half fit Kerr
4. The guy should be at his peak NOW and is showing nothing
5. He has had chances recently to come in and take the ruck by the scruff of the neck but he just doesnt have it in him to do so
6. Saying Coxy holds him back is crap as when the Eagles were succesful Seaby was playing pretty good football. He has just peaked early in his career
7. Naitanui isnt ready yet (although I reckon he will be a gun) so he should be showing more!
Any club that trades for him is doomed and deserves to be ripped off by the Eagles during trade week

they can pay him $1.2 mil a year and give him a smug title at Visy

Hille is not as young as he once was and next year he won't be the player he used to be. That leaves Ryder, with Bellchambers and Bock who so far are just not up to it, plus Hooker who is a defender and not a ruck. Another option in the ruck would be fantastic.
