All clubs passed on them in a draft light on for rucks.
Only 2 rucks were taken in the draft, Grundy and Pierce.
Clubs are considering Laycock,Blake,Hudson,Wood,Brogan,Stevenson. This must say something about the need and availability of decent ruck prospects at present.
Also in next years intake in the Institute of Sport there is only 2 recognized rucks (the lowest ever)

McBean went at 33 to Richmond, Moller is going to Fremantle in the rookie draft and Daniher who can pinch hit went to Essendon.

In the end what other clubs do regarding the development and recruitment of ruckmen isn't our concern.
