Lots of missing may come into contention here, but how many?

Kreuzer, McKay, McGovern, SPS, Marchbank, Macreadie, Fisher & Martin. (Curse of the M's)
Plenty of talent in the shed and anyone that doesn't front up here, may be far from a certainty come round 1.

EDIT: Who dropped the ladies team in here? Come on....Who was it?

Based off the comments in that Riley Beveridge article and what I saw last night, guessing we might see something along the lines of:

FB: Plowman, Jones, Simpson
HB: Docherty, Weitering, Williamson

FOL: Kreuzer, Murphy, Curnow
C: Newnes, Setterfield, Walsh

HF: Martin, Casboult, Silvagni
FF: Betts, De Koning, Fisher

INT: Cuningham, Gibbons, Newman, Pittonet, Dow, O'Brien, Philp, Kennedy

EMG: Honey, Ramsay, Stocker, Goddard

Kreuzer, Martin & Fisher come in, Cripps the notable out for SOO.

Cripps will miss this game due to the charity match.

Two positives:

1) The charity match won't actually be an extra match for Cripps
2) We get to what life is like without Cripps - but not when premiership points are at stake...

My take:

FB: Plowman Jones Marchbank
HB: Docherty Weitering Williamson
C: Murphy Walsh O'Brien
HF: Cuningham JSOS Fisher
FF: Martin Casboult Betts

R: Kreuzer Setterfield E.Curnow

Int: Gibbons, Newnes, Simpson, Stocker, Dow, TDK, Pittonet, Macreadie

This sorts out some positional battles:

Newnes vs O'Brien
Martin vs Cuningham vs Gibbons vs Fisher
(HF/mid, three to play R1)
Stocker vs JSOS vs Dow (inside mid/HF in the absence of Cripps)

That also frees up some time for TDK to have another crack at his forward craft, and Macreadie to rotate into the defence in place of Jones or Weitering.

Newman can come back in for the final match to try and put his hand up for selection in a battle against Marchbank and SPS.
