I propose Martial Law at Richmond. All power to be in the hands of Brendon Gale until a time where he has kicked enough butts of both player and coaching panel so that the team starts to resemble one of the AFL.
Alternative to this? An indefinite period of time until we can genuinely compete for a flag. What's to stop it taking another 30 years? The system has failed us a long time and has a good chance to keep on doing so. Time and time again, the people selecting the people to select our coaching staff have been far off the mark. That's how deep back our problems lie, and the results of this we see on the surface are an inept coaching/recruiting/playing list. Until we can get it right at the top, until we get some proper people in to select our coaching and recruiting staff, it's going to be pot luck if RFC get it right. And that is NEVER going to happen because guess what! People do not fire themselves.
Brendon Gale is the only one I trust to be in command. Whilst this may seem wild, it is a means to bring a result we desperately need before we all become disengaged with this club for good.
