I can't imagine he'd go anywhere but Collingwood.

He didn't have a great game in the final sadly, he was well overshadowed by Aidan Walsh and Daniel Goulding, particularly in the second half. He really struggled to make space for himself in a crowded midfield. He didn't make many clangers but he just couldn't stamp his authority on the game. Makes you realise how much quality there is at top level GAA.

Off topic, but good luck in the Grand Final. Not because I like the Pies, but I f**king hate St Kilda. Only time I ever felt physically threatened at the footy was amongst Saint fans, and more than once.

Will he want to come back without winning the All Ireland Final? Thats what he went back to do after all. I could see him returning if they won, but I can't see him being satisfied with a loss. Our list is in good shape, he could probably afford to spend another year in Ireland if he wanted another shot.

That article is pretty funny though. Almost sounds like they want to keep him there against his will, handcuff him to the goalpost or something.

Not really, at least not this year; Down were in Division 2 of the National League and you could have got very very good odds on them making this final.

We're a hugely changed team in a short space of time. it's not all down to Marty but he makes a hell of a difference.
