What did you think Glen?

That moment when Garfield comes through - the crowd went absolutely crazy! And then when Tobey came through. One of my favourite movie moments of all time. It was just done so well. Even the Murdock scene got a massive pop.

The humour was absolutely perfect too and they really made the villains from the older Spiderman films more interesting.

I'm glad that (I presume) that Tom Hardy won't be Venom for the Marvel version. They connected it so well.

the usage of the score from the Raimi films really got me. Takes me right back.

Yes Garfield’s appearance elicited the loudest response in our cinema. In fact so did Electro’s reference to a black Spider-Man as well.

The 3 of them web slinging together and landing in their battle poses. ****ing hell. Just absolutely ****ing magnificent.

I think outside of Infinity War/End Game this has become my favourite non avengers Marvel movie.

Has been a long time since a movie had be grinning ear to ear for a fair majority of it.
I'm rating it better than end game

It’s hard for me to accurately rank it so soon after seeing it and still buzzing (recency bias). The quality of story telling really was magnificent. For me I always had Infinity War slightly ahead of Endgame anyway. Then Black Panther. And now this has most certainly shot itself into that very top tier.

It's definitely top three for mine

Loved the repeat of this line by Osborne :)

Saw it at midnight. How good was that. I haven’t been a fan of the Spiderman movies in the MCU but I loved this one.

Gonna go see it a second time at a decent time now to fully comprehend it.

And I still recall being in a cinema and seeing him say that in the trailer released late 2001. Wow. 20 years already.

His performance in this film was excellent. Such an evil campaigner when he flicked the switch.

So the first after credits scene is very interesting

Does that imply someone knows that someone is someone.....
shows Hardy's Venon returning to his universe and not part of the Holland 1. Sets up 2 things IMO. 1 possibility of Hardy v maybe Andrew spidey if Sony give him a redo and 2. for the venom part in Tom's universe to connect with Tom like it did with Toby previously. My thoughts anyway

But strange clearly states that those coming into the MCU world are only doing so cause they know that Peter Parker is Spiderman. And we know that Hardy Venom isn't in MCU world so surely that implies there's a Spiderman in the Hardy Venom world and Hardy knows Spiderman is Peter Parker.....

PS that was ****ing hard to write in spoilers at the cricket

the symbioties are a hive mind, so Tobeys Venom knows which means Hardy Venom knows

Incredible, one of the best MCU movies, maybe one of the best superhero movies

It's basically the End game of spiderman movies. The story is so ambitious but they were good enough to pull it off

Watched it at a full house in Melbourne Central Hoyts, the crowd went even more apt shit than the End Game.

They were hella ambitious with it and we knew the big complaint with Spiderman 3 was it being too crowded but I think they pulled it off better this time, and the movie is another piece to a multiverse puzzle so it can be its own movie but also a crucial part of the overall phase.
