If he's the doctor he would know that he didn't protect you. But I think he's left out the possibility that the lovers protected you.

If he was a wolf however... he would definitely know who they targeted.

It doesn't say the person who was attacked and saved was protected by the amulet.

I protected myself, tbh I didn't read the lovers role and assumed that since an avenger was attacked it was cap and the shield saved him.

That's the assumption I made too re: the write up but just wanted to know why you said it was only the doc that could know this?
