It does seem wrong that, once it gets into a group they can keep it forever, or at least until they're down to the last member. Like there was a lot of evil in the last game, there are a lot of protection mechanisms in this one - the Lovers, the Chief Guardian and the Shield. Also a lot of seers on the side of the village, with the lovers and Doctor Strange. And wouldn't Magneto love for the Lovers to come out tonight, so they can recruit one tomorrow.

If the real doctor could be identified, he would be the ideal person to give your Shield to, Sante. Good luck.

Gutsy move by the flogs, high risk high rewrd type stuff. Well i guess the proof will be in the nigh phase, if Ant gives it back to Sante we can cross him off the list as evil. Sterge protects himself, Sante proects himelf with the Shield and we lynch a evil player. simples...

I can see why Sante would be conflicted on giving it to Sterge given the amount of times he has ripped all of us a new one on the RFC board game

Maybe people are reading too much into the importance of Captain America's Shield as I've said, it's only rule is that it must be passed outside the Avengers after the first lynch.

Does it even protect or is it just a decoration?
