I can't comprehend why he was put on such a long contract (given he is from WA, never looked like leaving and wasn't likely to generate huge interest/offers from other clubs) but he is decent depth. Sure, he has deficiencies but his best isn't as bad as people make out. I thought his start to the year was pretty good and then he was dropped somewhat unfairly after a couple of average games when there were worse offenders in those games. That said, I don't want him in the starting team and think we need to move to a different brand of football (far more contested) than we have been playing and he isn't particularly suited to that.

Have never really questioned his endeavour. His body is just not designed for football. For his size, he has really no attributes like burst speed, quick hands or cheeky nous that give him an actual role. He's only just ever been super fit and an ok kick when in space. A link player who only really looks good when the side is all playing well.

Personally i doubt he'll see out his entire contract.

He'll be on the list in 2018 as depth, is what it is, but i think the club could potentially pay him out and **** him off if he's still a crab going into 2019.

Don't think Masten is the one that's going to replace priddis for polarising discussion although I don't understand why he hasn't been delisted already.

Think it's going to be gaff. Has all the same traits.

Was pretty spudish until 2015, and then thought he came into a bit of form and had finally grown a pair and was doing a lot of the tough stuff in and under. I thought he'd turned the corner. Got suspended and came back the same pea heart. Could be handy depth, but he ain't that good.

Masten is fine when the team is going good.

When the team isn't going good he's not up to being able to step in and take up the slack.

He is the barometer of our team. If you want to know how good the team is look at him and if he shits the bed etc etc.

The 3 losses this year he's done it.
The rest of the games he played decently.
He's not the reason we lose but he is one of the reasons we can't get back into games.
