I would refrain, but he in particular really struck me as a shit bloke.
Anything apart from a few tweets when he left the club?

Also, I always thought Shae had talent and would have at least gotten a game had he been a few years younger.

Please tell me you're joking and I've missed it.
Remember the video he made after being de-listed. Comes across as a brilliant bloke to me.

Also on a more personal note. I once bumped into him at a pub so I wished him good luck on his future. He was so grateful, and positive about his time at Collingwood. At the end of the conversation he offered me 3 reserved seats to a game.

well the only thing that connects cox with mcnamara is the nationality. cox is a different type of person in the way he relates to sport. He started off a soccer player and got too big for it and I think he decided to put sport on the backburner and pursue academic stuff. It looked to me that he only played basketball in college as a social/fitness thing, in that he was providing training support for the women's basketball team. Even when he was convinced to tryout with the men, he hardly played and just hung around doing a few minutes game time. Contrast that with Shae who tried to pursue his dream in germany and then turned to afl because i think he saw it as an opportunity to have a big impact. Cox, on the other hand, never looked like he wanted to have a big impact in sport after his soccer thing ended. I think the only worry with Cox is that he wont have the commitment to afl and will go back to get his career going, and it seems from the recent video thing on the collingwood site that that isnt the case. The fact that he's been listed in the best players in the last few games has got me thinking. I didnt expect to see him progress past getting his hand on teh ball in the ruck.

Well it sounds as though you have a much more significant and meaningful experience of the guy than I do. I had the sense there was a lot of ego and misplaced entitlement in play.

Like most athletes who don't 'make it' there was probably some ego driven angst towards the club, believing if he had been given more opportunity he would have proved a success. But most people are susceptible to that trap.

unfortunately, a lot of americans could be accused of being a little too "strategic" in their relationships. The video was made after he was dropped by the Pies but he still had a chance of being picked up by other clubs. It wasnt until he found out that no club wanted him, that his words got a little sour. I've known and had sex with a few americans over the years and many are straightforward and honest. Some could view relationships - especially those relating to work - as stepping stones for their personal goals....even being nice to the fans could be the strategic thing to do. That's not necessarily how mcnamara works but...

Now we are talking, please tell more ;)

no i'm not the type of person who kisses and tells, although i do have some glossy phontos which i might be able to make available at reasonable prices...
Well, I can see how Shae may have ended up a bit bitter if you stopped having sex with him when he lost his place on the list, then threatened him with the photos...

If they are anything like the last ones you sold me, then I think it's fair to warn people that they're all extreme close ups of your face "in the moment" (as it were).

Impressive stamina, especially in a group setting. No wonder you got to know them in that time... but not really necessary.
