He was poor again on Friday. They need to send him back to the VFL and see if he can find form. He doesn’t present and he kills space in the forward line. He struggled to have an influence and didn’t start taking a few grabs until Marchbank was injured and the game was done
Lol. Where do I start, Marchbank is there best defender so when he goes down the 2nd best in Jones went to Reid and Weitering went to Cox.That was Reid on marchbank btw
4 contested marks might be the most for the round
Kills space your kidding , creates it by demanding 2 on 1s or even 3 on 1s
Doesn't say much for all those so called superstar kids bought up on the game
Doesn't present hey, well he took one in the dukes at full pace, miss that one
Or did you see him rag doll the pick 1 twice , who by the ways on more coin than mason
Defensively suicide. Can we afford to play cox out of the goal square. Would this make teams beacklines more accountable?

Got to take those marks uncontested as the link-up, exit strategy... whatever you want to call it from the backline to the wing. Drop those and it usually costs you a goal, because your teammates are expecting you to hold it, and they have spread 5-10m on their opponents towards goal.Sounds like and feels like a knee jerk reaction
I game when no one let alone a inexperienced beginner took grabs with a slippery ball
Cox is doing a hell of a lot more than Chris Mayne is! Go on, Change my mind. Until you do, Cox is a cheap investment to give Grundy a rest during games, a cheap forward that key defenders have to care about due to his sheer size, and a cheap way to bring the ball to the ground for our small forwards in a contest. Good value for money in my opinion. That's allot for what I'd consider a below average player atm.
Either way he's not free.
Oh wow, that's a huge bar right there!Cox is doing a hell of a lot more than Chris Mayne is!

You're still whining

Clearly option a) if I’m renting the properties out!You have $900k of your own money to invest.
Option a) a one bedroom apartment in a poor location that probably should have been condemned 18 months ago and a 2 bedroom house that is getting on in age that needs a lot of work and is in an ok location.
Option b) an established property in a good location that needs no further work.
Which do you choose?
Clearly option a) if I’m renting the properties out!
Hang on a sec, you didn’t say how many bedrooms option b) has. How do you expect people to make an informed decision without all the details? How predictable!
A 1 bed apartment in a shit location getting you $150-200 a week and a 2 bedder in an ok location that needs a shitload of work is getting you $300-350 tops. The good house in a good location is pulling in $500 a week on its ear. You then have the capital growth.
This board makes me sick in the gut these days!
I'll wait untl the property bubble burstsYou have $900k of your own money to invest.

IMO, looking at the value to acquire either house is madness when you should be considering the future value they provide...
I’m reminded of Rick’s poignant poem - ‘House’I'll wait untl the property bubble bursts

Up to 6 if the umpires don't take sympathy on Weitering for being outbodied. He was okay, was Coxy.Would have been 5 contested marks except he had one disallowed when they paid a free to Reid instead.

How is any of that wrong we could have an elite tall forward at 900k a year of Mayne and Cox. Two list cloggers, just highlights our poor list managementWrong
I think that is really unfair. Cox showed in his 3 games at the end of last year, that he has what it takes to be a very good AFL ruckman. Smashed Zac Smith, broke even with Ryder, and sharing 50:50 duties with Grundy beat Gawn. He is a very good tap ruckman with a big leap to go with his height, and very nice placement with those tap outs. Takes marks around the ground quite well, and is very good at sneaking forward to kick goals. He really should have gone to Brisbane to be the no 1 ruck... Very confident in Cox the ruckman
Cox the KPF is another kettle of fish. For me his ceiling there would be a useful foil to a gun KPF (and it is 50:50 he he get there). Unfortunately we haven't got this gun KPF. I doubt he is good enough to be no 1 KPF, thought it looks as though we are building the forward line around him..
Still my point remains, it is not fair or accurate to describe our no 2 ruckman, and someone with genuine rucking talent as a list clogger
Those two run down places can you give me the block dimensions, unit prices in the area and an insight on how many units you could fit on each block? You have $900k of your own money to invest.

You would get a third round pick at bestYou ignore fact you have to get an elite tall forward. That costs first round picks.
Also Cox is contracted. Don’t doubt he will have reasonable trade value if on the market. There was and would be interest from others.
