Mass defection of players to form new SFA team

A rumoured mass defection of players from the four current sweet football association to form a new team, the Ardent XXII. The defections are not due to pay disputes, but rather an overwhelming wish to play amongst their own kind as all are devoted followers of the cult of Paganism. The rumoured defectors and playing positions are:

In the same spirit that saw North Melbourne become officially known as the Kangaroos, the Ardent XVIII will now be known as the PAGAN DUCKS.

We figure that we'll get the goth, death metal, and satanic crwods; dungeons and dragon players, and buffy the vampire slayer fans with the PAGAN reference while we should snaffle up the animal liberationists, those lonely people around lakes with paperbags full of breadcrumbs, and all West Indian cricketers with the DUCK reference.
