I always have miranda and Zaeed. Miranda has overload and warp, so i hit em with mirandas overload if they have shields, wait, then i singularity them, then detonate the singularity with Mirandas warp. C-c-c-c-combo!

Zaeeds inferno grenade very handy against armor
How does the inferno grenade compare to incinerate anyway? I am currently using Mordin's fully upgraded incineration blast and that is working pretty well.

The Miranda combo seems pretty good and I think I will try it. Does it count for the combo achievement, though? Although practically I don't really need to warp at the end, as warp ammo gives an extra damage boost to enemies who are trapped by biotic powers so they are pretty much dead anyway.

I really doubt that The Illusive Man is in League with the Reapers. If he was then he wouldn't have brought you back to life, since he would have been indoctrinated/recognised the fact that you were too dangerous to be alive. Harbinger's comments during combat of capturing your dead body for study go against everything The Illusive Man has done "for you".

If anything he wants to get the Reaper technology, defeat the Reapers with it then take over the galaxy and establish "Human dominance".
agreed.

Maybe the illusive man isn't actually human and is an uninhibited AI, and looks on Shepherd as his best way to defeat the one thing that stands in his way of dominance....the reapers
There's definitely something very dodge about him, just being a human champion doesn't sit well with me. There's definitely something sinister about him

ha, cop that :p

-No wonder he put EDI on the ship. BTW how weird is the relationship between Joker and EDI near the end?

A man can love a computer. As shown by master chief and cortana....and Graeme and the goodies computer
:p
-
Fair enough but it is stranger when it is the machine doing the dirty talk. EDI- "I like it when you are crawling on your knees... that was a joke.". Although I can't really talk as my character has a thing for aliens which reminds me that the love scene with Tali reminds me of the final scene of Halo:CE how the helmet comes off but you don't get to see the face.

I was actually expecting a twist with EDI ever since I noticed the AI core was closed where she would go insane and murder everyone... Obviously didn't pan out the way I expected, but since she is still bound by her programming, I'm assuming The Illusive Man has top authority when it comes down to her which could pose a problem in ME3 if you pissed him off.

If he had the Collector base I don't think he would need Shepard any longer so he would blow him up as soon as he got what he wanted. I do agree though that there's something shifty about him altough I still think it's just personal greed and xenophobia against all the other alien races and trying to take over everything for himself when he says "humanity".

Did the exact opposite mate:p Played as paragon soldier, now a renegade adept. It is more fun playing as a renegade, which is why i did the paragon first, makes the second playthrough a bit more alluring.

Not sure what is easier, the soldier or adept. I must say once you boost up singularity you tend to pwn pretty hard. Easy to kill guys that are floating around helpless

Having Zaeed as a squadmember when you play adept helps a lot. Download him if you haven't already, he's rad

Haven't downloaded him yet.

I didn't take barrier though, took one of the ammo ones. I'm finding I'm really lacking health without barrier - but I just assumed the Adept would start with it? Like in ME1?

Yeah they've definitely changed it up a bit, they've added another attack (shockwave) in place of Barrier and stasis.

I miss stasis, that shit was handy when you had a krogan coming down on you

Speaking of Krogan's going down on you, I hope you can bone a female Krogan in the third one. I'm like Captain Kirk in this bitch, banging everything in sight (at least with my renegade).

You seen their teeth?

Not as bad as Vorcha oral tho i guess

Nah. Even if you went with aria in the first game, you get no action with her other than a kiss. All that happens is if you stay faithful, before the last mission he'll look her photo in his cabin and go all doe eyed and gooey.

That photo got turned down pretty quick with me lol

Think you're thinking of Liara.

He's talking about Aria, the badass chick from Omega. I reckon she'll be a character in number 3 for sure.

You can't bone Samara either. Spewin'. You can bone Morinth though, but it kills you. Asari chicks take it in the butt.

Ah yep yep. Soz

Rejigged my adept, I was going to take Barrierm but thought Id' try out Warp Ammo instead cause it seems like a good all-purpose ammo.

This shit is amazing for a Biotic (and probably even better for a Vanguard). IT does additional damage to shields, armour and health, and it does EXTRA damage if the target is affected by biotics at the time.

May switch to Barrier if things get too hard, but this ammo makes me a beast.

That actually sounds pretty good, might give it a crack. Not a real drama because on the second playthrough they give you a crapload of element zero so you don't have to arse around mining it, so a rejig isn't a big worry.

When you take retraining, do you get refunded the skill points you added to your previous skill?

Yeah, basically when you respec they refund all the points you've spent and can re-allocate them whereever.

As for vanguard using warp ammo, I'd just stick to inferno ammo and pick a different power such as reave to take down armor and barriers.

Might be best suited to infiltrators then?

In that case you won't get to use the bonus against characters under the effect of your biotic powers.

Well its just ANY biotic power, so if Jack/Miranda/Jacob/Samara are in your party you'll still take advantage of it.
