Anyone else thing this game could be transferred to a movie/TV series?

Quite sure a movie is already on the cards.

I believe the term for GAME as a company right now is 'absolutely ****ed'.

Glenno was mentioning in another thread that they're on a knife edge and likely to be done fairly soon (as in no longer existing done).

The cancellation of Mass Effect only effects the UK GAME stores at this stage

But that is a major worry for them, as the UK is their strongest territory. Biggest game of the year to date and they can't stock it.

Not good signs. Especially since i thought their UK business was NOT for sale, it was only their foreign territories which struggle more

I think it is. They found a buyer for the European branch, however they own EB in Australia and buying Game in Europe they also have to buy GAME in Australia

So, a video of homosexual MaleShep was released today by CVG, and then it was quickly made private.

So here's a picture!

^That's it, I'm buying ME3.

In other news, interdweebs are getting upset at EA and Bioware because there's some DLC for ME3 that can either be gotten for free via the N7 Collecters Edition pack, which means it isn't free just extra with other stuff ($128 RRP). OR you can get it day one on the PSN or XBLM for around about $13 AU (Price still not 100%, could be $15) or 800MS points.

This wouldn't be much of an issue for people except that the DLC is said to feature a 'Prothean party member, a new mission and costumes'.

Now myself not being down with the ME lore yet, but doing research on it, it would seem this race 'Prothean' could potentially play somewhat of a big role in the game or at least provide a decent amount of backstory. People are of course pissed off because this DLC will be available day one, which means it's not anything that needed to not be in the game. It's clearly been cut just to make people spend an extra $20-$40 on the Collector's Edition or the price of the DLC.

So what will you guys be doing? Boycotting the game? Getting the standard and not worrying about the DLC until you know it's actual post-release made DLC? Getting the DLC day one? Or just getting the Collector's Edition anyway?

And how much does this affect your opinion of Bioware/EA?

Waiting for FOX News to cross over to Westboro Baptist Church who will say this game is the work of Satan and God hates Shepfag :D

Seriously, a week before the game and they release this nonsense?

Anyone else tired of the suddent media obsession about alternative sexualities becoming NEEDED in video games?

HBK,

It won't stop me as a loyal player from buying and spending my Saturday nights and Sundays until midnight Monday morning. One of the best sci-fi storylines I have enjoyed, on top of the game play which I have been amazed with since day 1.

Sigh... I wish it was next week, but no, its freaking Friday :(

I feel like i made the wrong decision being a xboxer and not giving a **** about ME
The demo felt ok and i will play it but it doesn't tickle my funny bitz

New trailer (and the best one yet, imo):

Just ripped through a new ME2 campaign over the last couple of days to refamiliarise myself with the story, etc. Adopted a strong pro-Cerberus approach (i.e. Allowed David to stay with his brother after the Overlord mission, not blowing up the Collector base, etc). Achieved my whole group's loyalty, kept everyone alive and reached full paragon status.

Might do another quick run through before March 6, either as a strong renegade or just doing what I'd do IRL.

Will everyone be playing their first ME3 walkthrough with an imported ME/ME2 game? Or are there a few of us who will be starting from scratch to begin with?

M 17+

Blood
Partial Nudity
Sexual Cont-

Hang on, what the **** is partial nudity supposed to mean???

Once I saw a movie that was rated M because it had 'themes'. And there is a saddle club DVD that is rated pg for adult themes. No wonder no one pays attention to this shit.

That trailers epic.
My first playthrough of many will be with my original character built up from ME1.
Hopefully its releases early.

Getting the collectors edition anyway.

I'm a huge Bioware fan (since Jade Empire) and am happy to give them my $ for content, so i'm not fussed.

Breaking up content into DLC is a way for developers to remain profitable with trade-in and copyright infringers hurting traditional revenue streams. I want developers to remain profitable, so they can keep producing great games.

I suspect the interdweebs complaining ah the teenagers with no $$$.

That trailer is so damn epic. Similar to you, I'm going to be running through ME2 again with a pro-Cerberus renegade (My main is a full paragon) and I'll be trying to make opposite decisions wherever possible. My second character is a female-shep but I just can't stand the idea of romancing the male guys on my squad :o

You can romance Jack can't you?

I think she's in ME3 too, so going the relationship option, as opposed to the one night stand route, might be viable if you're looking to carry over a ME2 relationship.
