Enough of what? Discussing the game?
This is not the place for SRP-style discussion of political views, regardless of whose they are. And posts like these certainly aren't discussing the game, so don't play dumb.
Might want to buy a bag of compost to go with it. Good combination; complement each other well.

You're on about your 700th account so if you'd like this one to last more than five minutes I'd probably pay attention, whether you agree or not. This is the last I'll comment and further posts will be deleted. Take it to PMs if you must.

Changing character classes whenever you want? the f**k is that.

Im getting worried about this game, the "Proof of concept" they used as a gameplay video last month and this one.

Im still going to buy the game but the more i see the less excited about it im getting. It looks super clunky and "In engine" gameplay demo when its a few months away. and if thats 60sec they picked to sell the game then wow

I know they only just announced the date today, but it looks like it needs a delay.

Yeah i dunno, is that's what is happening or is it more a character selection/creation menu?

It looks like they have gone even further to the cater for the CoD/Battlefield fans and removed even more RPG stuff then they did with ME3.

Letting you change classes all the time and level each class to unlock new perks.

I thought they said they were doing away with the class system completely, so it's weird to see that there.

They also said they went back to the drawing board to make the RPG mechanics closer to ME1 with the shooting of ME3 which seems like a perfect mix.

I feel if you can just mix and match skills it's sort of like what's the point?

It seems like they looked at what the fans didnt like about ME3 and doubled down on them.

If i didnt like the first 2 games and was a fan of the series, nothing they have shown looks good. and if its looking like this now its not going to get much better in the next 8-9 weeks before the "Gold deadline"

Switching classes sounds like job systems from RPGs like Final Fantasy 5, Dragon Quest 9 etc. Could be interesting.

Agree it's a bit unsettling how little has been shown. Think I'll give it a couple of days after launch, make sure it doesn't need a big arse patch to make it work properly.

In a pure RPG sense it kind of takes away the character development, but being able to mix and match your skills like an equipment loadout would mean you get to use a variety of party members. In 1-3 once I had my class I picked two members that covered the skills I lacked so I never used any other members in that play through unless it was their loyalty mission and then my squad was imbalanced.

I'm a bit muffed at the lack meat and potatoes gameplay released for us to see like everyone else but it's a massive stretch to just simply write the game off. Sure ME3 was a low point of the series in terms of an RPG but it wasn't a shitty game. BioWare have gone through numerous line up changes through their BG releases, NWN, SWKotoR to now and call me a fanboi but they aren't typically one to put out garbage. Sure they've had high and low points but they've got a decent track record.

Take out the final five minutes and ME3 was great.

The game was made too much for the casual shooter. with things like removing class requirements for select weapons.

Maybe. But the shooting was the most fun it was the entire series. I loved playing through that game on Insanity. I found the customisation of weapons to be way better than Mass Effect 2 also because it didn't exist in ME2.

So much this. It's the one I go back and re-play the most. Cops a lot of unwarranted stick all because of the ending.

Yup thought it was awesome myself. Gameplay was fun and sad at times (...the feels, I stopped playing for a few days after a certain scene aha).

People rubbish the entire game because the developers couldn't think of a more creative cutscene.

This

Also rpg isnt dependant upon having a traditional d&d style roll out. If people think char development can only be done via personal skill point allocations, they havent played many rpgs (esp the old school stuff in the 80's)

On team mates i tried to mix this up a lot because i also found you kept playing the same peeps. So i made a rule you pick the chars with the most appropriate backstory for the mission

Tali and legion on anything geth

Lt boring and the space racist for alliance stuff

Miranda and jacob for cerby hardcore stuff

The saffa and garrus for killing blue suns

Etc....

Because the game itself is great but people seem to ignore that and say it was shit because of the ending.
But it's not really. Gone are the RPG mechanics that defined the series, it's just a mediocre third person shooter with typically horrible Bioware cutscenes.

It had more RPG mechanics than Mass Effect 2 did.
