I had to cancel my pre-order.

Honestly, it just looks boring as hell to me. I REALLY hope I'm wrong, and I hear everyone praise the shit out of it.

I'll wait until it's been out for a while.

Watched the trailer last night right before bed - was pretty tired so not sure if I misunderstood it but they seemed to mention 7 gold planets suitable for colonisation. Does that mean there are only going to be 7 worlds to visit? Hopefully there are more (even if you can't settle on them) to explore and do missions on. 7 seems like a small number for a game touting exploration and discovery.

Don't want to compare it to Destiny, but knowing you play it, you'll enjoy it for sure, have it on pre-order with EB though.

Definitely get around to playing them at some point. Fantastic games. As this is set in the future in a different Galaxy there is no need to play the original trilogy first.

Hard decision on whether to alter appearances or not. I'm pretty sure I did the first time I ever played Mass Effect and didn't know anything about Shepard but after that it became sacrilege.
