Kmac, Dow and Prestia are the obvious ones. Colina too but he is Cat B. I'd say there is a fair chance Tylar Young doesn't get offered another contract either, especially if Gibcus gets his body right at the back end of the year. MRJ would probably be in the firing line but the last name probably means he'll get another year. Wouldn't be surprised if Kaleb Smith requested a trade if he hasn't cemented a spot.

Think everyone else at this stage deserves to go on.

Bauer possibly could be somewhat left-field one - if Lefau comes back ok, and with a sudden abundance of tall forward options to try to get games into, could prove to be a bad year to be out of contract.

TLDR; we could comfortably make room if his form was too hard to resist leading up to the MSD. But wouldn't want to shaft Dion for a 170cm small forward who's played a handful of VFL games.

We have very few pure running at speed types. Has a bit of Isaac Smith in him, tall, fast, runs all day and a good long kick.

Yes but he went at pick 4 because he was a star at 18. Ruso is going well in the VFL, but not quite onn the level of the Wiz.

Maybe. McCarthy seems to me to have more tools to play AFL football. Ruso has some but we might be going a bit early, 3 games in. McCarthy was impressive last year as well.

I think our forward line will be better than it looks right now. Campbell is very good, Hotton was going top 5, Lalor rests down there, Green is going well. Mansell is handy. Clarke is coming back. Then a swag of talls, not sure there is a real need for a small forward down the track, or splace for one.

I was thinking Durham, when he was on our list. Since getting to Bumbers he’s turned into a mid ( very good one).
Apparently there was a number of AFL recruiters at the game on the weekend watching him,

I was going to say plays a bit like Sam Banks, but McCarthy has more pace than Banks and more a power running. Age helps with the later, but speed is a big part of his game.

Mannagh was 19 when he was at Richmond left in 2019 to go play for lavington played in their 2019 premiership. Played then at Werribee in 2021- 2023 before being picked up by Geelong. Didn't need a 27 year old on our list . And Davidson. Give me blight and Gray anytime

Was coaching Smillie at quarter time in the VFl apparently. Appears he is already going down that coaching/development path.
